We have put together an initial list of over 40 eco bags, accessories, recycled jewelry, and more from local crafters/artisans all over the nation.

I only cleanse 1x daily in the evenings — my skin is sensitive to over agitation from many years of using harsh acne fighting products (toxic cleansers, scrubs, cremes, masques)

Occasionally I will skip a day from cleansing to give my face a break.

Signs that your face needs a break from cleansing:

1) You notice persistant small bumps — not noticeable to the naked eye but tiny “goose bumps” – often a sign of over agitation

2) Skin seems dry and flakey on a daily basis – even when using a heavier moisturizer

3) Skin seems more red and irritated on a daily basis

What to do:

If cleansing 2x daily, drop to 1x daily cleanse in the evenings for 7 days

If cleansing 1x daily, drop to 1x every other day for 7 days — on the “off” days, rinse face with warm water, tone, and moisturize 2x daily

Often, a small break from cleansing, will allow the skin to “regroup” and adjust.

A simple weekly “mini-facial” can often help eliminate and control breakouts and assist the skin in maintaining moisture balance.

What You Need:

Scrub – Wisdom Antioxiant Vitamin C Facial Scrub or AcaiBerry Facial Scrub

Masque – 4 Masque Choices based on the intensity of oiliness/breakouts – if your skin is more sensitive – do not masque – request a free sample 1 application – reaction to the masque usually occurs within 3 days after use

Serum – Deep Repair Serum – This is a strong smelling serum – very Nutty and unpleasant to many – extremely effective for healing blemishes – Please ask for a free sample 1 application – if the smell is too strong use the VitaC Serum – formulated for aging skin, scars, and inner cell renewal.

Blemish Control Creme – Freedom Blemish Control Creme

Instructions:

Step 1: Scrub – Wet face with warm water; work scrub into a creamy lather in the palm of your hand and then massage in circular motion on face with enough pressure for the skin to begin*to absorb; let sit for 30-60 seconds; rinse. It is very important to let the scrub sit on your skin and work — simply lathering up and rinsing off is not sufficient – allowing the scrub  to “soak” will help open the pores and allow the anti-bacterial oils and antioxidants to remove and kill bacteria and toxins.

Step 2: Masque -Spread thin layer (too thin if skin is seen through the clay) on face, neck, chest or back – whichever areas you  choose to extract impurities. Let “set” until clay drys thoroughly and begins to flake (approx. 15-25 minutes); rinse with warm water. Masque may leave skin “red” 30-60minutes following — this is to be expected as a result of dramatic increase in blood  circulation.

Step 3: Serum – This treatment is best when applied under steam or hot towels; apply hot towels on face for 60 seconds to  open pores; next, apply generous amounts of serum over face and neck – until serum absorbs completely – and sit under  steam or hot towels for 5 minutes; can repeat once more for severely dry skin; rinse face with cool water and pat dry. Tone  and Moisturize immediately following (small amount of moisturizer). Even if skin feels slightly oily – allow serum to absorb overnight or a comparable amount of time.

Step 4: The Next Evening: Cleanse, Tone and Moisturize with an overall application of Freedom Blemish Control Creme.
